A great local business to add to your holiday shopping list!
We highly suggest checking out Deep Black if you haven't already. They offer ceramic goods with a luxe modern aesthetic at affordable prices. Their Christmas drop is out, making it very tempting to upgrade my dishware!

On the 8th Day of Christmas, we downward dog

Sam is our in-house yogi and he has been attending Hot House Yoga for three years now!
And if you need a gift for a yoga-loving friend, gift an experience with a gift card and take a class together! You can also shop for yoga products like mats, water bottles, yoga blocks, and clothes!
Namaste in holiday mode!

On the 9th day of Christmas Norfolk gave to me.... OVM Financial
Today I'm highlighting local industry experts AKA your go-to team for getting a home loan in the 757!
Here are 3 reasons why you should choose a local lender:
1. You can meet them in person! Buying a house is a BIG deal so who you finance your mortgage through should be too! They play a vital role in the home buying process to ensure we are meeting necessary deadlines and getting to the closing table on time. I work hand in hand with local lenders and want you to work with someone you trust vs an online cloud-based lender who you'll never be able to meet in person!
2. Your offer will be more desirable to the sellers - Yes it's true! It does make a difference on who is handling your financing for your home purchase. Online lenders aren't reputable locally so sellers may be leary to accept an offer that wants to use a lender who isn't used to getting the job done right here in town!
3. You can easily get ahold of them! Online lenders have banking hours (M-F / 9-5) whereas local lenders will most likely be available if you need them outside of business hours or if there is an emergency!
Stay local, support local, and shop local when it comes to your lender!
