September is here, and we are ready for ALL of the fun that Hampton Roads brings for the start of the Fall season!

Boozy Book Fair at Reaver Beach Brewing Co
Saturday, September 3rd from 4-8pm
Reaver Norfolk is teaming up with their favorite local intersectional feminist bookstore & bottle shop, Eleanor's Norfolk, to bring you a BOOZY BOOK FAIR!
They will have a lineup of local booksellers taking over their taproom for the evening and a curated beer cocktail list inspired by some of Eleanor's NFK's favorite authors!
September 23rd- October 2nd
The State Fair is always a great time for adults and children! Kids can learn about agriculture and get hands-on in the petting zoo area. And everyone can enjoy the rides, classic fair treats, pet a few of the farm animals, and browse the homemade craft and goods. There are even locally made brews and wines for the adults to enjoy!
September 23rd-25th
The Williamsburg Harvest takes visitors on a culinary journey of Virginia that spans over 400 years. Attend a range of culinary events that highlight Virginia’s rich food history, where chefs, farmers, artisans, brewers, winemakers, and historians from around the Commonwealth share their knowledge and skills. You’ll have the chance to sample dishes from some of the most famed chefs in Virginia at this annual Williamsburg festival. Be sure to check out their Facebook page to see all the contests and other events they will be hosting!
Saturday, September 17th from 11-4pm
This year will be the 7th Annual Hermitage Handmade Festival! This is always a favorite event among HRVA locals! Shop for arts and crafts handmade by 85+ artists. Plus, enjoy live music on the back patio by Peep the DJ, guided tours and scavenger hunts, food and dessert vendors, Fairy Hair by Chelsea, and art activities for all ages! Be sure to check out their website for a list of all artists and vendors!
September 2nd & 16th from 4-7pm
The Ghent Farmers Market is another favorite amongst HRVA locals! Be sure to check out their facebook page for the list of vendors for each date!
Hogwarts Express at Slover Library
Saturday, September 10th from 1-4pm
All aboard the Hogwarts Express! We're going "Back to Hogwarts" with magical crafts and activities for the whole family.
Harry Potter fans are invited to join the festivities on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 1-4 PM on the 2nd & 5th Floor.
