It's normal to feel nervous to discover your numbers, but it's necessary if you ever want to get off the hamster wheel. The only way to know for sure is to choose a lender and a homeownership plan and commit to it. This may mean taking a financial class. Maybe it's paying off a credit card or revising your monthly budget. Whatever it is, it's empowering to know you have what it takes to make your dreams happen. Don't think of the plan as a set of restrictions...think of it as your path to freedom! Mindset during this time sets apart the forever renters from the future homeowners.
